Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

City Center Psychotherapy offers an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) of 2-5 sessions per week to tackle issues such as anxiety, depression, and OCD with a collaborative, focused approach.

In addition to a comprehensive evaluation, working with an elite clinician as well as a supplemental therapist, and intensive individual therapy, the IOP may include:

  • Patient education and awareness training

  • Family education and involvement

  • Treatment for co-occurring conditions Individualized coaching with home assignments

  • Coordination with psychiatrists, physicians, and other providers

After the initial evaluation, your therapists will determine the best therapy modality or modalities for your unique situation. Using CBT or/and Exposure & Response Prevention, we'll design the IOP to fit your specific needs. This immersive experience is great for those who are transitioning out of residential treatment, looking to kickstart a treatment plan that has plateaued, or hoping to use a break from school or work to see results quickly.

IOP for Anxiety

Our Intensive Outpatient Program has been designed for clients with complex or severe anxiety disorders who are looking to make fast strides in improvement. This intensive approach to treatment, utilizing CBT and Exposure Therapy, allows clients to experience significant symptom reduction in a shorter period of time than with a typical weekly therapeutic schedule.

IOP for Depression

The IOP for individuals suffering from depressive disorders provides a supportive level of care that is essential in the transition between more intensive care levels, such as inpatient care, and regular outpatient treatment. The objective is to gradually return clients to their full functional capacity while still offering substantial clinical support and structure to prevent depressive relapses. Individuals that are less than 6 months recovered from their depression are still at a high relapse risk and derive great benefit from the level of support that an Intensive Outpatient Program provides.

IOP for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) can be a debilitating and stressful disorder, often consuming a person's life with rituals. Exposure & Response Prevention and CBT provide meaningful results and clients can see improvement in symptoms quickly. Our IOP for OCD allows clients to accelerate their treatment gains even further, significantly reducing the treatment timeline.
